Josh Hutcherson EXCLUSIVE

Yesterday, I had the AMAZING priviledge of attending a tapping of The Conan Show. I got tickets for the one that Josh Hutcherson was scheduled as a guest and boy did I have an amazing time. In this blog, I'm going to go over some of the funny things he talked about, NEVER-BEFORE-HEARD stories of Josh that he talked about, and some quotes that he said on the show!

Okay so they started with some jokes about the young woman "crying and weeping" over him and then Conan brought up the Mockingjay Part 2 Trailer... He talked about how the trailer got lots of attention and he asked Josh if his family got excited over it and he replied, "They used to. They used to." *laughs from the audience* and he continued by saying (sarcastically) that now everytime he trys to tell them something they kinda shrug it off. Then, Conan asked him about how his fandom is huge and how sometimes the fans could be borderline invasive. Josh added on to that by telling the story of how a mom and her 2 girls drove all the way from Chicago to his grandmas house (while they were eating dinner), rang the doorbell, and started crying with "his face all over them". He also mimicked the mom in a very happy/creepy tone saying "He might be home for Christmas, let's see if we can get him!" *laughs from the audience" He also told a NEW story of how when he was coming out of his hotel to go to film a movie on set in Cincinnati, a mom and two girls (again) were waiting by his car and that when he got there, the mom started crying saying, "You don't know what we've been going through.." and the kids went, "Mom, stop crying" and then the mom added, "It's finally over." They mad a joke about that last line afterwards. He commented saying, "It just got dark all of a sudden." *laughs from audience*

Conan moved on to asking him about Bonnaroo and how he walked around in a big festival with young people without getting his "clothes shreaded", and Josh replied saying there's two ways, one being "You can dress up like a Mexican drug cartel with the Sunglasses and a hat... Really creepy but they won't recognize you," and two being "You just walk aroud with your face out in the open, and they're all so far gone on substances that you just throw a twinkie and they go running after it anyways." They joked about that for a bit and they took a commercial break. Some music played during the break.

They then talked about Josh's new movie, "Escobar: Paradise Lost". Conan asked him how he handled constaring with Benicio Del Toro and he told a story of how his agent called him saying Benicio Del Toro wanted to meet with him annd "...because I'm such a white idiot, I heard Guillermo Del Toro..." and he went into the meeting thinking it was Guillermo but when he walked in he was like "Oh, this is Benicio Del Toro". He said he had a "Complete change of perspective and everything, and it definitely was a... stupid white moment that I had." When Conan asked Josh is he speaked Spanish, he replied with, "Si mucho." *laughs from audience* Josh then talked about how he was one of the only three people who speaked English on the set. He added by saying that there's a joke he likes to say and that is, "What do you call someone who speaks three languages? Trilingual. What do you call someone who speaks two languages? Bilingual. What do you call someone who speaks one language? American. *laughs from audience* Conan then talked about a scene from the movie where a REAL dog attacks him and he asked him how they filmed that. Josh joked by saying "They had a real ferocious dog and they said attack." *laughs from the audience* He then explained how they had three different dogs - one of them was "Gonna hurt you, but not that bad" - the second was "a little dangerous" - and three was the most dangerous. He said he got to the third one but to start off he had this "Giant pad around his arm with a super light dog and then by the end he had this little tiny thing just to stop the teeth from puncturing and he had the crazy, insane dog." He then said that the craziest part was that the dog's trainers were French, and they were yelling commands at them, and Josh was thinking, "Are you saying to bite me harder or let go. What's happening." He then said that his arm was "super sore" for the rest of the film shooting. Conan then cut to a clip from the movie between Benicio's character and Josh's character. After the clip, Josh excited the show. We then had to sit through the rest of the show. The show with Josh airs tonight on TBS at 8PM PST/11PM EST!
