The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 was the third movie in The Hunger Games Franchise, grossing more than $750 million dollars at the box office. The official synopsis is The worldwide phenomenon of The Hunger Games continues to set the world on fire with The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1, which finds Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) in District 13 after she literally shatters the games forever. Under the leadership of Commander Coin (Julianne Moore) and the advice of her trusted friends, Katniss spreads her wings as she fights to save Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) and a nation moved by her courage. We had 3 trailers (not counting the propo teasers), a handful of tv spots, and about 5 or more clips. The marketing/promotion campaign began later than Catching Fire's and was not satisfying to some and satisfying to others like me.
